Why get tested?
Free, inclusive STI & HIV testing
Your health matters — and so does your peace of mind. We provide fast, judgment-free testing for HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Getting tested is one of the most important steps you can take for your health and your relationships. Many STIs, including HIV, don’t always cause symptoms, which means you could have an infection without knowing it.

Key questions
Key questions and helpful advice
Window Period refers to the time interval between when a person is exposed to an STI and when the test can detect it in the body. Each STI has varying window periods.
Testing individual sites (genital, rectal, and throat) for STIs is crucial because infections can be present in one area of the body while being absent in another. A single test, such as a urine sample, can miss infections located in extragenital (non-genital) sites, leading to delayed treatment, ongoing transmission, and serious health complications.
Basic STI testing does not require fasting, though checking with your provider prior to your appointment is important. Staying hydrated by drinking water prior to your appointment is crucial. If you know you are needing a urine sample, you should not urinate for 1–2 hours before the test to ensure the collected sample is not too dilute and provides more accurate results.
